Welcome!

My name is Tympest Hora, and I am the director of High Temperature Dance Academy. I'm a graduate of Iowa State University (go Cyclones!) with a degree in Performing Arts with a Dance emphasis and a minor in General Business.

I have been involved with studio dance for over twenty-five years, and have been competing and performing since the age of three. My passion for dance has given me many opportunities and experiences throughout my adult life, including: performing in Disneyland while interning with Professional Dance Network, being elected as the Orchesis I Dance Company President at ISU in 2016, receiving State and National titles, professionally judging for Symposium Talent Contest and, most importantly, allowing me to share my love, knowledge, and experiences with others within and outside of the dance world. I have wanted to own a dance studio since the age of thirteen, and can't wait to continue experiencing all that HTDA & the community have to offer!

My hope is that my commitment to each individual student, and my passion for creativity and teaching is what makes High Temperature Dance Academy so special. Thank you for joining our dance family this season!
