At High Temperature Dance Academy, competition is an opportunity to increase performance skills, encourage dancers always to try their best, practice responsibility, and form new friendships as a team.
Dancers will be evaluated and placed where they best fit: including but not limited to – skill level, technique,
storm competition team
professionalism, performance, showmanship, flexibility, endurance, etc.
Auditions are held in May, the weekend after the recital. Our “Launch” weeks in August are when dancers will learn group choreography. Solos, duos, and trios will all be scheduled by the choreographer.
