Julia Meek is from Bonaparte, Iowa, and graduated high school in 2025 before recently completing cosmetology school. While she loves working in the beauty industry, dance has always held a special place in her heart!

Julia began dancing at age 5 and competing at age 7. She was a member of the Van Buren County Rhythm Squad throughout high school, earning multiple top team placements and individual state-level recognition.

After discovering High Temperature Dance Academy, Julia fell in love with its positive atmosphere, supportive teachers, and encouraging environment. She always knew she wanted to return after graduation as a teacher. Now, she is excited to share her love of dance, help young dancers grow in confidence and skill, and inspire them to develop a lifelong love of dance!
